"I have loved DeLoreans ever since I saw Back To The Future as a kid. I once mentioned to my partner, Dan, that if we ever got married, I'd like to travel to the ceremony in a DeLorean.
Fast forward to the morning of my wedding day. Due to budget constraints, I was expecting to be taken to the venue in my Dad's Vauxhall Astra estate. Suddenly, I heard the roar of a sporty car draw up outside the house... and when my bridesmaid and dad took me outside, I was greeted by Chris and the DeLorean with the Back To the Future theme blaring. Dan had arranged the whole thing as a surprise. I was so happy and excited - a friend photographed the look on my face as I came out and spotted the DeLorean and I think my massive grin says it all.
Travelling to the wedding in the DeLorean was an amazing experience. Not only was it extremely cool being in the car I've admired for so long (and seeing the looks of wonder from neighbours and passers-by), it was lovely chatting to Chris who immediately put me at ease. By the time I arrived at the venue, all my nerves had evaporated. What a brilliant start to the day.
We also had the chance to capture some great photos with the DeLorean after the ceremony. I'm sure the car is something our guests will always remember. It is certainly unforgettable for Dan and I, and helped make our wedding the best day of our lives.
