Basildon UCI

In October 2005, 26 DeLoreans gather at the UCI cinema in Basildon for a showing of the BTTF trilogy. It was the largest ever gathering of DeLoreans in England.  However this has now just been beaten by the aforementioned lotus Event!

The BTTF replica car was even put on display INSIDE the cinema complex. By all accounts this was not an easy task (even time travel doesn’t help squeeze cars into small spaces)!

A great time was had by all! DeLorean owners and of course all BTTF film enthusiasts had a great night out.

Chris & Suzanne Williams acquired their 1981 DeLorean in 2004.

Chris Williams said “I’ve always wanted a DeLorean since seeing the Back To The Future films when I was in my teen’s. Having had various classic cars over the years, I finally realised my dreams in 2004 when I purchased a recently re-imported DMC-12 from Nevada in the US.  It’s great fun to drive and never fails to attract attention”.
